After already playing the Bulldogs in pool play these two teams were already very familiar with each other. The Angels held a slim lead 20-17 heading into the bottom of the final inning. The Bulldogs staged a ferocious comeback that ended up giving them the victory over the Angels |
Game #4
The final game the last game in the USSSA Baseball World Series. The teams had split the previous games between them. The team that won this game would be crowned as the World Series champions. How could the Angels bounce back after a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs just an hour ago? Simple…play Angels baseball. The Angels jumped out to an early lead with great hitting and then kept the score in their favor with stunning defense. At the end of the game the Angels were crowned the World Series Champions. To have come into the tournament with a target on their back and to have made it through great competition is no easy task. Coach Banks and Coach Gordon put it best “I am proud of the boys because they showed amazing character and resilience”. Well said Coach, congratulations Angels |
