COACH SHAWN: MILFORD WARRIORS

Coach Shawn is a very interesting person. This past year was a very interesting for NGYFL and when the dust had cleared there was Coach Shawn standing there with his Milford Warriors flag. This award was presented to Coach Shawn not only because his team was amazing this year but also for the way he took on responsibilities of the league.
Coach Shawn not only talked about it but he encouraged a family environment by having the kids focus on their grades, by organizing fun nights for his team like going to see the Hawks play. Coach Shawn was the embodiment of youth coaching. Now if we want to talk football try these stats out, won his league championship, his team won every game by 5 touchdowns including the playoffs. His offense averaged over 40 points a game and defense allowed under 10 points a game. Then on top of that he had one of the best team introductions in the business.
We will never forget his team walking down from the top of the stairs to the hurricane sirens, then they played Drake and Little Wayne on the speakers as they took the field through a tunnel of parent. Not bad at all for a great organization with a great leader. Congrats to Coach Shawn of the Milford for being named the 2009 B2C Coach of the Year for the 8U Division.
