The rematch of last years championship game
The stage was set for a great game. This game featured the two teams that played each other in last year’s championship game. The Blackhawks took the victory 24-12. Both sides remembered the game all to well, as there was only standing room only at the game. With both sides yelling their team specific chants, everyone knew that this was going to be a great game.
The game started off with great defense by both teams. Neither offense being able to generate any momentum. Both defenses forcing turnover to get the ball back in their offense hands.
The Hurricanes struck first with a hard 12-yard touchdown run by their electric running back #20. The half ended with the score being 6-0 in favor of the Hurricanes, which ironically was the score at the half in last year’s championship game. The end result of that game was a championship headed back to the home of the Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks came out of the half with some new adjustments as they tried to take advantage of the shiftiness of their dynamic quarterback. The Hurricanes defense was simply just to fast. Every time #1 (Blackhawks) would try to get around the corner he was et by multiple Hurricane defenders.
Just as the Hurricanes had seemed to figure out the Blackhawks offense #20 (Hurricanes) ripped off a beautiful 52-yard td run. That would be all the Hurricanes would need to seal the victory as they ended up winning the game 13-0.
Both teams played hard and we all look forward to seeing a possible rematch down the line.
